What counts toward pay
Approved, usable video time recorded on the glasses and submitted correctly. The rate applies to recorded footage, not every hour you spend on the project.

Ray-Ban Meta Glasses Project
A walk through town. A grocery run. A change of scenery. Record short clips with Ray-Ban Meta glasses and turn your everyday point of view into footage you can earn from when it’s approved.
No professional filming experience or social following required. We’re looking for adults with real routines who can follow guidance, record responsibly, and submit consistently.

From application to payment
Smart glasses capture video from your point of view, with a built-in camera that leaves your hands free. Real movement, changing light, and varied surroundings help researchers understand how wearable technology works beyond a controlled setting.
Tell us about your routine and availability. If selected, confirm your rate, equipment terms, recording guidance, and assigned project lead before you begin.
Wear the glasses and record natural 1–3 minute clips. Clear, varied everyday scenes are the goal; three minutes is often ideal when appropriate.
Transfer your clips, follow the folder instructions, and upload to OneDrive or the approved system. Confirm everything has arrived by Saturday night.
The team reviews submitted footage. Approved usable minutes are paid at your agreed rate, with weekly payments generally processed on Monday.
A team behind the process. Arzia coordinates participant guidance, submissions, content review, and support. You’ll have a project lead for questions as you get started and throughout participation.
Make the numbers make sense
At the packet’s standard rates, five approved recorded hours would equal $100–$250. That is an illustration of the math, not a weekly income promise. Your actual pay depends on your agreed rate and the usable footage approved.
| Approved footage | At $20/hour | At $50/hour |
|---|---|---|
| 3 minutes1 three-minute clip | $1 | $2.50 |
| 30 minutes10 three-minute clips | $10 | $25 |
| 1 hour20 three-minute clips | $20 | $50 |
| 5 hours100 three-minute clips | $100 | $250 |
Pay = approved recorded minutes ÷ 60 × your agreed hourly footage rate.
Approved, usable video time recorded on the glasses and submitted correctly. The rate applies to recorded footage, not every hour you spend on the project.
Charging, app downloads, setup, transferring, uploading, waiting, and other non-recording time are unpaid. Include that time when deciding whether the opportunity fits.
The packet lists $50–$100 per approved recorded hour for some separately agreed higher-tier arrangements. Special locations, rare access, and especially useful footage may qualify for bonus consideration. These rates and bonuses are not automatic.
Late submissions may move to the next pay period. Confirm your cutoff, time zone, payout method, and individual terms with your lead.
An opportunity built around real life
If your week includes errands, walks, meals out, or time in different places, you already have a starting point. Here’s what makes this project worth considering.
Walks, errands, meals out, and everyday travel can provide useful footage. Look for natural moments in places you already go, where recording is permitted.
You can take part without an audience, a personal brand, or an influencer profile. The project values useful footage from dependable everyday people.
Professional video experience is not required. The team provides recording guidance so you can learn what makes a clear, useful clip.
Record 1–3 minute clips with the camera built into the glasses. Your natural point of view is the focus, so elaborate scenes and staged performances are unnecessary.
At the packet’s standard $20–$50 hourly footage rates, one approved three-minute clip equals $1–$2.50. Approved minutes add up; setup and uploads are unpaid.
Changing light, busy places, and distinctive environments can make footage more useful. Some may qualify for higher rates or bonuses under a separately agreed arrangement.
Already own Ray-Ban Meta glasses? You may use your own pair with the same project guidelines. If you need equipment, tell the team so availability and terms can be confirmed.
Get guidance on setup, recordings, submissions, and project questions. Your assigned lead is your first contact when you need help or clarification.
The packet describes research use by default. Public sharing is optional and requires your approval; coordinate any project-related social media posting with the Project Manager.
Your recordings capture the movement, light, and surroundings of real life. That variety supports research into more useful AI and smart-glasses experiences.
Bring your routine. We’ll help you understand the next steps.
Apply to take partWhat makes footage useful
The project needs authentic environmental detail. A steady habit of recording varied, useful clips matters more than staging a perfect scene.
Simple, quiet moments can still be useful. Aim for a balanced mix.
Your setup, explained
Onboarding covers recording, file organization, uploads, and communication. Be ready to install and use the required apps, submit consistently, and reach out when something needs attention.
You may use your own pair for participation, following the same recording and submission guidelines. Confirm your setup with the team.
Tell us in the application. Equipment provision must be confirmed. If glasses are supplied, they are for project use and may need to be returned under your agreement; they are not automatically yours to keep.
Keep glasses safe, charged, and properly stored. Report loss, damage, or technical problems to your lead promptly.
Know what you’re sharing
The participant packet describes research and development use by default, without automatic public posting, advertising, or social media use. Understand your current participant agreement before you record or submit footage.
The packet says public use requires your approval. If you want to explore TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or other creator opportunities, coordinate project-related posting with the Project Manager first.
Respect people’s privacy, private property, sensitive spaces, and recording restrictions. Obtain any required permissions. Never create a risky situation for footage or let recording distract you while driving.
Ask who can access footage, how long it is kept, and what ownership and deletion terms apply. Those details are not fully specified in the supplied packet and should be clarified before submitting recordings.
Before you decide
A good fit starts with understanding the opportunity and the responsibilities.
